Pay it Forward

        Everyone has heard of paying it forward, karma, and doing good. This week as we all know the killer, scary, viscous people are trying to upsell the lovely Lilly for Target products. One women I had the opportunity to talk to shined bright in darkness of all that's Lilly. I posted in search for a dress for my upcoming college graduation on May 9th. All I wanted was a shift dress to wear under my cap and gown.
        I was in luck. I came across the wonderful Lilly fairy! She had a dress, my size and was wonderful enough to pay it forward and give me her dress! There are wonderful people out there. There are no words to fully describe how thankful I am.

The Lilly for Target Craze!

     Well like many prepsters, yesterday morning I went to Target to try to get the best deals and maybe even a shift dress to wear for my formal. Boy, let me tell you people are viscous. Think of it as Black Friday for the preppiest of preps. This includes but not limited to: Moms, kids, teens, college sorority girls, teachers, etc. I learned the scariest of all are the Moms. They ran into the store first and grabbed everything on the racks. I was about 6th in line and it was a struggle for me to find what I wanted. I did get a lovely romper and a scarf but I did not get what I came for.

      The best part is next. I was online all day due to being at work in front of a computer screen and Facebook was blowing up. I am part of numerous Lilly Facebook pages and people were really getting full of themselves. People are upselling their products like crazy. My favorite part of my day was when one horrible Lilly lover tried to upsale a bunch of her items and well.... the Lilly lovers attacked, including me.

      Needless to say.... or at least I thought... Do not upsale your TARGET Lilly products. They are sold there for a reason. Why would I pay $80 bucks for a Target Lilly dress when I can get one used in good condition for a little more? And ESPECIALLY do not post it on a Lilly Facebook page trying to upsale it.... Common sense people. Hopefully we will be seeing Target restock these items, if not I am glad I got the items I did!

Monograms and bows

                Monograms, you can NEVER have enough! Although lately people have been standing up saying they aren't into the classic girly srat idea, I can't say I am one of them. I love getting my Lilly bows or monogram purses. I can always count websites like jennabenna.com, http://www.blggdesigns.com/, and https://www.etsy.com/shop/ItsABowThing12 to have the latest and greatest designs.

                Be who you are, and if that is with all the beautiful bows & monograms... well then it's safe to say it will be a good life!

The Wonderful World of Etsy

               Although not every sorority girl is the Lilly loving, bow wearing, monograms types, some are. Etsy is perfect to find that monogram necklace, decal, or shirt that is priced to perfection. If your more of the arty sorority girl who loves to craft, Etsy is your place to sell your work and give it to another person who will love and cherish it! I have found really cool rustic furniture to one of my absolute favorite necklaces I wear pretty much every day! 

                Etsy is a beautiful website full of very creative pieces and if you scroll through the pages it becomes almost as addictive as Pintrest! NameplateNecklace is one of my favorite sellers on Etsy! I highly suggest her products because the work is beautiful! I love love love my necklace! itsgeegeebaby is also one of the best sellers who sells every sorority girls dream closet!
